FLU CLINICS 2008

We are now taking bookings for our forthcoming Flu Clinics being held throughout October.  If you are aged 65 or over (before end of March 2009) you are eligible for a free flu vaccination as well as patients over the age of 6 months with a chronic illness such as heart disease, diabetes, liver, renal, respiratory or auto immune disease.  If you are unsure whether you are eligible for a free flu vaccination, please contact reception who will be happy to advise you.

NEW ONLINE PRESCRIPTION SERVICE AVAILABLE MID SEPTEMBER

From 11th September we will be able to offer all our patients the opportunity to participate in a new electronic prescription management service in conjunction with Pharmacy2u which allows you to request your repeat prescriptions electronically (or by telephone) who will then arrange for them to be delivered to your home or work.

If you would like to use Pharmacy2u's electronic prescription management service, please pick up a registration form from our reception desk.

Please note that you can book your appointment with the doctor or nurse up to four to six weeks ahead.

Please remember to let us know if you change your address or contact details.

CANCELLING YOUR APPOINTMENT.

A total of 669 patients failed to attend for their appointments during 2007.  This represents approximately 111 hours in wasted doctor or nurse time.  If you no longer require a booked appointment, please let us know in advance so that we can offer it to another patient.  Your co-operation is appreciated.
